| Six cross combinations were researched, and a comparative experiment on the quality of six primary selected cross combinations (temporarily named as Huashi No.1-6) and an experiment of affroestation were done in this study.By measuring the survival and preservation rate, mass growth, the characters of branch, and the trait of plant diseases and insect pests, we discussed the difference between the important characters of hybrid clones during the time of plantation. And the primary selection of clones of hybrid F1, which provided the theoretical basis for selecting good clones of populus and cultivar assessment.The main research conclusion are as follows:1. Afforestation research on clones of populus deltoids hybrids F1(1) The total survival rate for thirty-eight clones is 90.06%, average preservation rate per year is 83.04%. The survival and preservation rate of LN05-238, LH05-014, LH05457, LN05-142,and LH04-017 all reached 100%.(2) Comprehensive assessment on characters of mass growth was done, which indicated that LH04-017,♀L04-13,♀L04-15,NH05-20,SN05-10,LH05-014,♀L04-15,LH05-275,SN04-19,LN03-X9 are good hrybrid clones,the genetic gain of tree height,DBH, and timber volume were 8.85%,16.83%,35.73% respectively.The heritability of timber volume is greater than DBH (diameter at breast height), and DBH is greater than height of tree.(3) The hybrid clones whose crotch angle is small are as follows:U04-03,U04-16,SN04-21,U04-KB3,NN05-al8,LN05-142, all below 65 degrees, the heritability of crotch angle is 0.17. The under-branch height of LH04-018,LH05-014,LH05-275,♀L04-13,I-63,LN03-X9 are all high, and the heritability is 0.18.(4) The hybrid clones that have strong resistance to rust are as follows:LH05-228,♀L04-15,♀L04-13,NH05-20,LH05-275, and the hybrid clones that have strong resistance to ulcer are as follows:NN05-a18,LH05-111,LN05-080,NN04-11,LN05-238.The hybrid clones that have strong resistance to longicorn are as follows:♀L04-15,U04-KB3,♀L04-18,NN04-11,SN04-41,♀L04-15,LH04-X2,LH05-457,LH04-017.(5) We found eight good hybrid clones by making comprehensive assessment with Membership function method, and they are LN05-142,LN05-238,LH04-017,LH04-X2,NH05-20,LH05-288,♀L04-15.(6) For three-year hybrid clones, the order of reliability is timber volume>DBH>height of tree.It's feasible to selecting good clones by making use of comprehensive characters of grow mass.2. Research on the quality of afforeastion for Huashi series(1) The storage rate of Huashi series is between 93.06% and 97.22%, and the order for storage rate is Huashi No.3=Huashi NO.4=Huashi NO.5>Huashi NO.2>Huashi NO.1>Huashi NO.6>Zhongshi NO.7>Nanlin NO.895>Zhongqian NO.3.(2) The order of grow mass is Huashi NO.4>Huashi NO.2>Huashi NO.5>Huashi NO.6>Huashi NO.3>Huashi NO.1>Zhongshi NO.7>Nanlin NO.895> Zhongqian NO.3, and the heritability of height of tree, DBH and timber volume is 0.58,0.63,0.91.(3) The order of resistance to rust is Huashi NO.4>Huashi NO.7>Huashi NO.2> Huashi NO.5>Nanlin NO.895>Huashi NO.3>Huashi NO.6>Huashi NO.1> Zhongqian NO.3, the order of resistance to ulcer is Nanlin 895>Huashi NO.1> Huashi NO.6>Huashi NO.3>Huashi NO.5>Huashi NO.2>Huashi NO.7> Huashi NO.4>Zhongqiqn NO.3,and the order of resistance to longicorn is Huashi NO.5>Zhongqian NO.3>Huashi NO.1>Huashi NO.7>Nanlin NO.895>Huashi NO.3>Huashi NO.2>Huashi NO.4>Huashi NO.6.(4) Comprehensive assessment on six characters by membership function method was done, and the order of character is Huashi NO.3>Huashi NO.2>Nanlin NO.895> >Huashi NO.5>Huashi NO.4>Zhongshi NO.7>Huashi NO.6>Huashi NO.1> Zhongqian NO.3. |
