Based on the research and contract of several types of machineries,the design and study of small-sized machinery was completed in this paper.Through comparing the structure characteristics of the existing modelsand the functional requirementsof the machine,one design project was put forward in this paper.On this basis,the desing of some components of the machine was completed, including the design of the whole drive system and frame.In the design process,software of two-dimensional and three-dimensionalwas used in the engineering drawings of various parts and the whole assembling process,meantime Pro/Mechanism was used in the simulation of gears to test the design flaws.Finally, through prototype testing and preliminary trials,some improvement was suggested for the unreasonable design in the machine.Frame is the main bearing components in the whole machinery, it needs to withstand the static weight load such as engine,gearbox,liquid containers,and also withstand dynamic load of engine and road exciting.So the performance of the frame has great influence on the reliability and safety of the whole machineryt,at the same time,the structure of the frame also has significant relationship with the manipulation stability,security,comfort and mobility over unprepared terrain.Finite element analysis is a effective and efficient method in modern engineering design and analysis,it is useful to improve the machine static and dynamic performance, optimize frame structure and shorten product development cycles,and improve efficiency.Therefore,In this paper,based on the three-dimensional model of frame,the finite element model of the frame wad established with shell element.On this basis,through the static analysis of frame under hold still and brake status conditions,we can get the contour plot of stress and displacement of frame.Through modal analysis of the frame,we can get the natural frequencies and mode shapes of frame.Through comparing the natural frequencies of the frame and the exciting frequencies of engine and road,we can get some conclusions and put forward some advice to improve the frame structure.in order to avoid resonance and the damage to the frame even the whole machinery.Based on the experience of frame analysis,the analysis of gear box was also carried out,Though comparing the existing method of loading,one method was found to help the analysis of gear box,the sketch of stress and displacement was calculated,and this results can be useful for the gear box improvement and make the structure more reasonable。This paper has completed the design of several parts of the machine and the finite element analysis of frame,and results can provide some reference for the future improvements and optimization of the whole machine structure design and performance.
