Study On Colored Tree Species In Baotou Landscaping Application

This article summarized the distribution way of colorful tree in the urban landscape in Baotou city through species survey and configuration of investigation, and example analyzation to provide a theoretical reference for landscape design of the plant.Through surveying and studying the application of colorful plants status on the major parks in the city, the gardens and greenbelts in the influential residential real estate properties in the green space, major urban roads, urban green space and other green spaces in the street, This paper summarizes the tree type and application mode and the features of the landscape formation in the various colorful green space. The main study results as follows:1. The tree species in Baotou city is drab. There are 28 kinds of colored plants totally, which includes 15 kinds of shrubs, 12 species of trees and1 species of woody vines. The main application modes contain: isolated planting, group planting, mosaicculture, group planting and vertical greening.2. In the applications of the colored tree species,autumn leaves and often multi-colored leaves is more than spring leaves; monochrome color leaves is the vast majority of the leaves, trim, color veins, leaf spot and mosaic is very rare; Exotic species is more than native tree species in the large number of applications tree species; the proportion of Purple Leaf Barberry, gold leaf privet shrubs and other shrubs is more than vine, herb; hedges, green belts, and other small blocks of color are more than the groups Coleus plants and trees Large blocks of color film plant.3. The main problem existed in the application of colored species in Baotou city as follows: although the resource of colored tree species is abundant, the kind of application in practical is not enough and not widely. It has a broad space for development and need more introduction and domestication of trees and develops the local wild planting resources. The configuration mode of colored tree in landscaping is relatively single while containing the unique connotation and meaning mode is rarely.
