Yunnan province has the largest species of wild edible fungi in China. Tricholoma matsutake (S. Ito et) Sing is one of the most important wild edible fungi in Yunnan province, also one of the main exporting wild edible fungi.Arsenic, cadmium, mercury and lead are the main harmful heavy metals to human beings, also the common harmful heavy metals in edible fungi. The contents of heavy metals in Tricholoma matsutake are closely related with environment conditions, the environment conditions are different in the Tricholoma matsutake growing areas in Yunnan province, the contents of heavy metals in Tricholoma matsutake also have inevitable difference. The effect of the heavy metals is not only determined by the total content, also closely related with the chemical forms of the heavy metals, different chemical forms of the same heavy metal element often have significant differences in toxicity and usability. In this study, a method involving ICP-oTOFMS was used in determining the contents of arsenic, cadmium, mercury and lead in fruiting bodies of Tricholoma matsutake, through the research of the samples from the Tricholoma matsutake growing areas, defined the differences of arsenic, cadmium, mercury and lead in fruiting bodies of Tricholoma matsutake, and the distribution of 4 heavy metals between stipes and caps in Tricholoma matsutake, discussed the relationship of cadmium, mercury and lead in fruiting bodies of Tricholoma matsutake and soil, defined the chemical forms of cadmium and lead in fruiting bodies of Tricholoma matsutake reliminary also were defined. Main results in this study were summarized as follows:1. Contents of arsenic, cadmium, mercury and lead in fruiting bodies of Tricholoma matsutake were ranged from 0.208mg·kg-1 to 0.195mg·kg-1,0.087 mg·kg-1 to 0.209 mg·kg-1,0.015 mg·kg-1 to 0.038mg·kg-1, 0.144mg·kg-1 to 0.486 mg·kg-1, the contents of arsenic and cadmium in caps were both higher than stipes, and the differences were significant, but the differences in contents of mercury and lead were not significant in caps and stipes. Refer to the regulated criteria of NY5095-2006, arsenic in 20.0% and cadmium in 5.0% of the samples were above the regulated criteria, the mercury and lead were both bellow the regulated criteria.2. Contents of cadmium and lead between the soil and fruiting bodies of Tricholoma matsutake both had no correlation, but there was significant positively correlation of mercury between the soil and caps in Tricholoma matsutake.3. Cadmium an lead were both in the lower activity chemical forms that extracted by acetic acid and hydrochloric acid in fruiting bodies of Tricholoma matsutake, cadmium chemical forms:FHAc (37.73%)> FHc1 (28.09%)> FNaC1 (16.31%)> Fwater (12.37%)> Fethano1 (3.91%)> Fresidue (1.60%),lead chemical forms:FHC1 (32.69%)> FHAc (29.62%)> Fwater (17.71%)> FNaC1 (15.65%)> Fethano1 (2.22%)>Fresidue(2.10%).
