As the sustainable, ecological and economic resources in China, Bamboo is very useful to help farmers become rich. As the great country of bamboo resource, China can yield 850 million tons of bamboo annually, which bring more than 3.7 billion MRB of industrial output value. At present, bamboo is mainly used to produce bamboo veneer, bamboo floor, bamboo fiber in China, however, the economic efficiency is not ideal and the utilization rate is low. This situation is adverse to the sustainable development of bamboo industry. Therefore, the deep process of bamboo resources is very urgent, especially including exploitation of sanitarian function, whose health-care components can bring maximized economic benefits and ecological effect. Therefore, using fresh Moso Bamboo as raw material, industrial-scaled benzene/ethanol extractions on chips, woods, leaves of Moso Bamboo were carried out, and the extractives were analyzed by methods of GC/MS, Py-GC/MS and TD-GC/MS. The aim is to grope for the health function of Moso Bamboo, expand the applications to medicine, spicery, and specific chemical industry, and finally provide theory basis and technical support for health-care products development from Moso Bamboo. The main results are as following:(1) GC/MS analysis of benzene/ethanol extractives of Moso Bamboo chips. The result by GC/MS analysis showed that the benzene/ethanol extractives of Moso Bamboo chips contain rich bioactive substances. The function analysis suggested that some components (including tetradecane, n-pentadecane, n-hexadecane, n-heptadecane, n-nonadecane, n-heneicosane, n-heptacosane) are often used in heat hemostatic, detoxification and detumescence in medicine; Phthalic acid ester is commonly used as natural spicery; Lupeol is used to cure urgent colitis, eye conjunctivitis, sore carbuncle and snake bites in Chinese fork; abundant natural vitamin E has many important physiological functions such as free radical resistance, anti-aging, immune ability improvement of human and animal. Therefore, most components of the benzene/ethanol extractives of Moso Bamboo chips have development value of health-care products.(2) Py-GC/MS analysis of benzene/ethanol extractives of Moso Bamboo woods. After solvent extraction, pyrolysis and MS Analysis,140 compounds were identified from 350℃pyrolyzate from benzene/ethanol extractives of Moso Bamboo woods, the main components are aldehydes, ketones and acids, the total relative content between 20-30min retention time is up to 60.64%; 188 compounds were identified from 600℃pyrolyzate, the main components are aldehydes, ketones, and acids, the total relative content between 20-30min retention time is up to 42.91%; 188 compounds were identified from 750℃pyrolyzate, the main components are hydrocarbons and acids, the total relative content between 10-30min retention time is up to 97.6%. The result of functional analysis suggested that different pyrolyzates from benzene/ethanol extractives of Moso Bamboo woods contain abundant raw materials of rare medicines, expensive spicery, organic synthesis, which has high value of comprehensive development and utilization.(3) TD-GC/MS analysis of volatiles of Moso Bamboo woods. After thermal desorption and MS analysis,36 compounds were identified from 40℃-based helium volatiles of bamboo wood, the main components are acids and alkenes, total relative content between 0-10min retention time is 56.97%; 31 compounds were identified from 60℃-based helium volatiles, the main components are acids and alkenes, total relative content between 0-10min retention time is 50.61%; 29 compounds were identified from 90℃-based helium volatiles, the main components are acids and alkenes, total relative content between 0-10min retention time is 78.73%,67 compounds were identified from 150℃-based helium volatiles, the main components are acids, aldehydes and ketones, total relative content between 0-10min retention time is 87.35%; 145 compounds were identified from 180℃-based helium volatiles, the main components are acids, aldehydes and ketones, total relative content between 0-10min retention time is 97.25%. The result of functional analysis suggested that the temperature-different helium volatiles of Moso Bamboo woods contain rich bioactive components, such as nonanal, vanillin, cedar alcohol,α-pinene,β-pinene,1R-α-pinene, camphor, caryophyllene, which can be applicable to biomedicine, cosmetics, skin care products, spicery.(4) Py-GC/MS analysis of benzene/ethanol extractives of Moso Bamboo leaves. After solvent extraction, pyrolysis and MS Analysis,169 compounds were identified from 350℃pyrolyzate from benzene/ethanol extractives of Moso Bamboo leaves, the main components are hydrocarbons and esters, total relative content between 20-30min retention time is up to 49.44%; 218 compounds were identified from 600℃pyrolyzate, the main components are aldehydes. ketones and acids, total relative content between 20-30min retention time is up to 54.95%; 199 compounds were identified from 750℃pyrolyzate, the main components are hydrocarbons and acids, total relative content beyond 30min retention time is only 3.79%. The result of functional analysis suggested that temperature-different pyrolyzates of benzene/ethanol extractives of Moso Bamboo leaves contain abundant materials of precious natural medicines, high-quality perfumes, pharmaceutical intermediates, important chemicals, which has great prospects in industries of medicine, spicery and specific chemical.
