Effects Of Rape Pollen Ultramicro Powder On Growth Promotion Of Broilers And Its Action Mechanism

The trial was conducted to investigate the effects of rape pollen ultramicro powder on growthperformance and biochemical indexes and immune function and antioxidant function andintestinal immunity in broilers. One hundred and eighty1-day-old Arbor Acres female broilerchickens were chosen and randomly divided into4groups with3replicates per group and15chicken per replicate. Control group was fed with basic diet only. three rape pollen ultramicropowder groups were fed with basic diet supplemented with0.5%,1%and1.5%rape pollenultramicro powder respectively. The experiment included two stage of1-21age and22-42days ofage. The blood samples from wing vein and tissue samples were taken at21and42days andralated indexes were determined. The results showed as follows：1. Growth performance: Ultromicro-pulverised powder of rape pollen can significantly improvethe daily gain of broiler (P<0.05or P<0.01); And can significantly improve the average daily feedintake of1-21feeding stage (P<0.05or P<0.01), but not significant to the Later Stage averagedaily feed intake and chicken feed conversion ratio (P>0.05).2. Growth hormone: Ultromicro-pulverised powder of rape pollen can significantly improve theconcent of IGF-I and reduced the content of T3(P<0.05or P<0.01).3. Slaughter performance results: the effect of ultromicro-pulverised powder of rape pollen for onslaughter performance of AA broiler is not significant (P>0.05).4. Serum biochemical index: Ultromicro-pulverised powder of rape pollen reduced the content ofthe nitrogen (BUN) in a certain degree, and uric acid, glucose,triglyceride and cholesterol (TC) inserum(P<0.05or P<0.01),and it can significantly improve the activities of Alkaline Phosphatase(ALP)(P<0.05or P<0.01),but it not significant influence of the activities of alanineaminotransferase(ALT)(P>0.05).5. Serum immune index: Ultromicro-pulverised powder of rape pollen can improve the concent ofthe serum protein (IgG, and IgM, and IgA),and Interleukin-2(IL-2) and Interleukin-6(IL-6)(P<0.05or P<0.01) in a certain degree,but it not significant influence of the activities of lysozyme,and Complement C3,C4,,immune organ index and antibody titer of nd.(P>0.05).6. Serum anti-oxidation index: Ultromicro-pulverised powder of rape pollen can significantlyinfluence of the activities of superoxide dismutase (SOD),and total antioxidant capacity(TAC)(P<0.05or P<0.01),and significantly reduced the content of malondialdehyde (MDA)(P<0.05orP<0.01), At the same time,it can improve the activities of glutathione peroxidase(GSH-PX) andhydrogen peroxidase (CAT) in a certain degree (P<0.05or P<0.01).7. Villi length: Ultromicro-pulverised powder of rape pollen can improve the growth of intestinalvilli in a certain degree (P<0.05or P<0.01),and in particular on the role of the duodenum is better.8. Cecal microflora and jejunal mucous results in detection of SIgA content display:Ultromicro-pulverised powder of rape pollen can regulation of intestinal microbial flora instructure by inhibiting the growth of Escherichia coli, promoting the growth of lactic acid bacteriaand Bifidobacteria(P<0.05or P<0.01). While,ultromicro-pulverised powder can affect mucoussecretion of SIgA content in P<0.05or P<0.01).
