Background:With the aging of the population, chronic heart failure has become a serious and common disease which threats the human life, and the proportion of diastolic heart failure in heart failure patients increasing fast. Through the study found that neuroendocrine hormones and cytokines can promote excessive activation of left ventricular remodeling result in the progress of diastolic heart failure, and plasma NT-proBNP and serum CRP are widely used in clinical cardiovascular biomarker. Hope to through the plasma NT-proBNP and CRP levels in study, looking for objective, sensitive, specific, simple, non-invasive indicators which have the curative effect observation and clinical conditions and outcomes value of the DHF.Objective:To determinate the variation plasma N-terminal pro B-type natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP) and serum C-reactive protein (CRP) levels before and after treatment, and to explore the link between NT-proBNP and CRP, analyze the change and significance of plasma NT-proBNP and serum CRP in geriatric diastolic heart failure (DHF), and further evaluate clinical value of measuring plasma NT-proBNP and serum CRP at the same time.Methods:59 diastolic DHF patients selected, according to the lever of left ventricular filling by ultrasonic cardiogram (UCG) detected,25 patients were the abnormal relaxation group,19 patients were the pseudonormal filling group, and 15 patients were the restrictive filling group.22 patients of normal cardiac function as control group. Plasma NT-proBNP and serum CRP levels were measured before and after treatment in geriatric DHF groups. Results:The level of plasma NT-proBNP and serum CRP in geriatric DHF were significantly higher than those of control group (P<0.05).2. The level of plasma NT-proBNP and serum CRP in geriatric DHF patients with the pseudonormal filling group were significantly higher than the abnormal relaxation group (P<0.05). The restrictive filling group has significantly higher than the abnormal relaxation group and the pseudonormal filling group (P<0.05).3. Plasma NT-proBNP and serum CRP in geriatric DHF patients were significantly decreased after treatment (P<0.05).4.The linear regression analysis showed that the plasma NT-proBNP and serum CRP showed a linear correlation, that is,the plasma NT-proBNP were positively correlated with serum CRP in diastolic DHF (r=0.849, P<0.05).Conclusions:l).The level of plasma NT-proBNP and serum CPR in diastolic DHF were significantly higher than in the control group and increased with the aggrevation of diatolic dysfunction. It reflected the damage degree of the diastolic heart failure well.2).The linear regression analysis showed that the plasma NT-proBNP positive correlation between serum CPR in diastolic DHF. Bsides the harmful effects to making the heart diastolic function deterioration, inflammatory cell factores seemed to promate the secretion of NT-proBNP to compensate the occurrence of diastolic heart failure.3).The level of plasma NT-proBNP and serum CPR have the actual clinical value in curative effect observation and clinical conditions and outcomes.
