| Objective:To study efficacy of Chinese Traditional Medieation treatment of optic atrophy.Methods:21 patients (30 eyes) with optic atrophy in patients under the standard of TCM into the deficiencies of liver and kidneys, d isease due to deficiencyof qi-blood, type of stagnation of qi-liver, type of qi and blood stasis, according to the dialectical given type were given Zuoguiyin addition and subtraction, Bazhen Decoction, Danzhi Xiaoyaosan addition and subtraction, Tongqiaohuoxue decoction. check against oral decoction of Chinese medicine treatment, day 1, morning and evening, taken twice daily for 3 months. Before and after treatment visual acuity, VEP, the average visual acuity. In the vision, VEP, the average visual acuity before and after treatment in areas such as comparison, the data were analyzed statistically to verify the efficacy of traditional Chinese medicine treatment of the disease, and make comparisons between the various syndromes. Another analysis based on visual acuity of patients, VEP, the average visual acuity is correlated with the duration of analysis before and after treatment in patients with VEP, the average visual acuity and vision are relevant.Results:1. In the analysis of visual outcome, visual acuity improved significantly after treatment (P<0.05); 2. The results of the analysis in the field of vision, visual acuity after treatment, the average increase (P<0.05); 3. The effect of related factors in the course of disease in patients with visual acuity, VEP, vision was no significant correlation (P> 0.05); after treatment before and after treatment visual acuity and VEP, vision was no significant correlation (P> 0.05).Conclusion:The treatment of optic atrophy TCM drugs can improve visual acuity, the average visual acuity, and thus effectively' improve visual function in patients, consolidation treatment.Therefore, Chinese medicine in the treatment of optic atrophy with good theoretical and clinical applications. |
