Surgical Treatment Of Lumbar Disc Herniation Retrospective Study

【Objective】:To investigate patients'clinical character and surgical method who have lumbar intervertebral disc herniation and need to operation.【Methods】:To collect clinical date of 240 cases with lumbar intervertebral disc herniation patients and retrospective analyzed these data from May,2008 to Jluy,2010. The data includ 158 males and 82 females. Among them, we choose deferent operation method:the extended fenestrations of vertebral lamina, hemi-laminectomy and laminectomy. Then respectively evaluate patients's clinical chatacter and objective sign, therapeutic effect with Oswestry.【Results】:240 cases were followed up 4 months to 4 years, average period was 13-month.The result is excellent outcome achieved in 168, good 42, faire 26, poor 4. The Total Rate which was concerded better to 87.5%.【Conclusion】:Patients who have lumbar intervertebral disc herniation can ensure the satisfactory outcome, if they get right Diagnosis, thoroughly preparation and choose better operation method.
