Analysis Of The Operative Treatment Of 79 Cases Of Lumbar Disc Herniation

Objective: Summarizing the experiences of the osteal section I in the afficiated hospital of Liao Ning Collage of Traditional Chinese Medicine. On the operative treatment of lumbar Disc Herniation(LDH)to direct the clinical practices. Methods: the retospective analysis was made to 79 LDH cases operated by osteal section I from 1995 to 2003 to evaluate the follow up. Result: Among the 79 cases, 42 cases were follow up. the follow up rate was 53.2%, the excellent good rate was 91.1%. Conclusions: (1)Definition of the diagnosis before the surgery takes extremely important role on the treatment do LDH. (2)Be strict on the surgical indication. (3)Select the appropriate surgical fashion. (4)Excellent good surgical skill and limited surgital invasion are the important factor of preventing the subsequent symptom of the surgery. (5)Deal with the treatment during the surgical period seriously.
