ObjectiveTo investigate the expression of OPN,uPA and MMP-9 in Patients with Pituitary adenomas, and to evaluate the relationship between the expression of OPN uPA and MMP-9 and the invasion of Pituitary adenomas, and to analyze the correlation between OPN,uPA and MMP-9 in invasive pituitary adenomas. Methods50 Pituitary adenomas specimens removed in our department were collected, all specimens were divided into invasive group (20eases) and noninvasive group (30eases) by adopted Hardy- Wilson and Knops standard. It was examined by immunohistochemisty of SP methods that expression of OPN,uPA and MMP-9 in these sliees of specimens. And then we discuss the correlation between expression of OPN,uPA and MMP-9 antigen, and then analyze the relationship between expression of OPN uPA and MMP-9. Result1,The expression of OPNs no significant relationship with the sex in 50 Pituitary adenoma(P>0.05). the incidence of the invasiveness has no significantly difference with the secretion of adenomas. The positive expression rate of OPN in non-invasive Pituitary adenomas and invasive Pituitary adenomas 43.3% and 90% respectively. There is significant difference between 2 groups (P<0.05).2,The expression of uPA is no significant relationship with the sex in 50 Pituitary adenoma(P>0.05). the incidence of the invasiveness has no significantly difference with the secretion of adenomas. The positive expression rate of uPA in non-invasive Pituitary adenomas and invasive Pituitary adenomas 50% and 85% respectively. There is significant difference between 2 groups (P<0.05).3,The expression of MMP-9 is no significant relationship with the sex in 50 Pituitary adenoma(P>0.05). the incidence of the invasiveness has no significantly difference with the secretion of adenomas. The positive expression rate of MMP-9 in non-invasive Pituitary adenomas and invasive Pituitary adenomas 46.7% and 90% respectively. There is significant difference between 2 groups (P<0.05). Conclusions:1.The expression of OPN uPA and MMP-9 in invasive Pituitary adenomas is higher than that in non-invasive pituitary adenomas, the expression quantity is inereased with invasion extent, indicate the OPN,uPA and MMP-9 might be Parameter in judgment invasion of pituitary adenoma.2. There is significant correlation between the expression of OPN uPA and MMP-9 in pituitary adenoma, plays an cooperative effect invasive growth and recur of Pituitary adenoma, the OPN,uPA and MMP-9 might be Parameter in judgment invasion and prognosis of Pituitary adenoma.3. OPN,uPA and MMP-9 Play an important role in invasion of Pituitary adenomas. The expressions of OPN uPA and MMP-9 can be potential invasive and Prognostic markers of Pituitary adenomas, The inhibitors of OPN uPA and MMP -9 may be a new taste to treat the Patients with invasive Pituitary adenomas.
