Effects Of Progression-Free Survival Time And Serum Level Of Survivin MRNA In Patients With Stage Ⅳ Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer Processed By Feitai Capsule Maintenance Therapy

Objective:To evaluate the progression-free survival time of Feitai Capsule with maintenance therapy in patients with stage IV non-small cell lung cancer(NSCLC) patients.To explore the possible mechanism of Feitai Capsule maintenance therapy in stage IV NSCLC patients.Methods:Nighty patients of stage IV NSCLC patients were randomly assigned to two groups,the 45 patients in the treatment group with Feitai Capsules,45 in the control group with continual observation.Collection of 8 healthy patients from the medical center of the hospital were healthy people.Progression-free survival time were evaluated regularly.All people resting serum samples were collected,extracted RNA.RT-PCR technology was used to detect Survivin mRNA in blood of 90 patients,and the absorbance radio rate of Survivin/GAPDH was analyzed by Fluor-s gel imaging analysis system.Variations of the absorbance radio rate of Survivin/GAPDH in blood between two groups before treatment were assessed by the analysis of Independent-Samples T Test,that among groups were assessed by Paired-Sample T Test,PFS was by Kaplan-Meier analysis.Results:1) The general informations:in the clinical trail,90cases of patients with stage IV NSCLC were included.2 cases were dropouted for not meeting the number of cycles and against the subjective desire.The general informations including sex,smoking,age,KPS were analyzed,and they were similar between the two groups(P>0.05).2) PFS situations:in the treatment group,progression-free survival were longer than the control group(P<0.05).3) Clinical significante of Survivin mRNA:the absorbance radio rate of Survivin/GAPDH in pro-treatment and after two-cycles-treatment by Fluor-s gel imaging analysis system.The positive rate of the Survivin mRNA in stage IV NSCLC patients of treatment was 68.2%,and that in control was 70.5%.The levels of the absorbance radio rate of Survivin/GAPDH in blood before treatment in two groups were similar,the values were 0.7484±0.2146 and 0.7033±0.1727 (P>0.05),and that after treatment in the treatment group was lower than the control group,the values were 0.7484±0.2146 and 0.5705±0.1599 (P＜0.05).Conclusions:1) Maintenance treatment by Feitai Capsules can prolongate progression-free survival time in patients with stage IV non-small cell lung cancer.2) Feitai Capsules can down-regulate the serum level of Survivin mRNA in patients with stage IV NSCLC.Base on the results above,suggesting that Feitai Capsules may prolongate progression-free survival time by the way of down-regulating the serum level of Survivin.
