Purpose:The research aims to through observation of general performance and clinical manifestation of reflux esophagitis, Summarize the main constitutional types and syndromes,by means of modern statistical methods, ang further exploring the correlation in constitution,Syndrome, age and gender.Used in clinical,it can not only adjust physical constitution to prevent people from being trapped by diseases, in the diagnosis and treatment, by the combination of constitution and syndrome, law of development of disease.will be grasped better. Methods:The data of patients' symptoms and signs are got through question survey and the data base is established by applying epidemiologic methods.using SPSS 16.0 statistical software analysis, Chi-square test are used for statistic correlation in TCM constitution and age, gender; Correspondence analysis are used to explore the relation between the distribution of constitution and syndrome. Results:Among gathered 86 cases, the distribution of TCM syndroms is as follows: liver-stomach disharmony syndrome>stagnated heat in the liver and stomach syndrome>Phlegm and Qi stagnation syndrome>deficiency cold of the spleen and stomach syndrome>spleen deficiency and stagnation of moist heat syndrome>stomach heat and Yin deficiency syndrome.Overall, liver-stomach disharmony syndrome(27%) and stagnated heat in the liver and stomach syndrome(20%) are main type of reflux esophagitis. The distribution of constitution is as follows:yang deficiency>qi stagnation>qi deficiency>damp-heat>blood stasis>yin deficiency>phlegm-dampness>special intrinsic>peace.by way of Chi-square test, In addition to the intrinsic constitutional type of people who suffered reflux esophagitis has no significant statistical difference compared with peace constitution(P>0.05), other Biased constitution has significant statistical difference with peace constitution(P<0.01).That is,people of intrinsic constitution do not tend to suffer from reflux esophagitis. In the relativity research of constitution and gender,we can find that both mail and femail patients are yang defiency and qi stagnation,P>0.05(Chi-square test),that is, groups of different gender distribution was not statistically different in constitutional types. The relativity research of constitution and age showed that the most common constitution type in young is yang deficiency and qi stagnation, while in elderly is yang deficiency and yin deficiency. By chi-square test, groups of different age groups were significantly different in constitutionall type distribution(P<0.05). In the exploration of the relationship between syndrome and constitution,it is found that there is a certain correlation between syndrome and constitution in patients with reflux esophagitis. Conclusion:The distribution of constitution is as follows:yang deficiency>qi stagnation>qi deficiency>damp-heat>blood stasis>yin deficiency>phlegm-dampness>special intrinsic>peace;while the distribution of TCM syndroms is as follows:liver-stomach disharmony syndrome>stagnated heat in the liver and stomach syndrome>Phlegm and Qi stagnation syndrome>deficiency cold of the spleen and stomach syndrome>spleen deficiency and stagnation of moist heat syndrome>stomach heat and Yin deficiency syndrome. And it is found that there is a certain correlation between syndrome and constitution in patients with reflux esophagitis. For example, there is some connection between stagnated heat in the liver and stomach syndrome, stomach heat and Yin deficiency syndrome and yin deficiency constitution; Phlegm and Qi stagnation syndrome, liver-stomach disharmony syndrome and qi deficiency constitution; liver-stomach disharmony syndrome and qi stagnation constitution; deficiency cold of the spleen and stomach syndrome and yang deficiency constitution; spleen deficiency and stagnation of moist heat syndrome and damp-heat constitution.
