| Objective:to discuss and make in-depth research on the bone marrow suppression which is the most common adverse effect of the patients suffering the breast cancer going through the first chemotherapy after the surgery to perfect the etiology and pathogenesis and the prevention and treatment of this adverse effect.to combine the Chinese medicine by invigorating the spleen and kidney with the chemotherapy to observe the effect on bone marrow suppression.Methods:we select 60 qualified cases of Jiangsu provincial hospital of TCM from 2009.04 to 2011.03 who suffering the breast cancer are receiving the first chemotherapy after the surgery and divide into treatment group and control group randomly 30 cases for each group.Both groups are given one of the 3 chemotherapy of FEC.In addition, the treatment group is given the decoction of invigorating the spleen and kidney for one dose per day.Then, we compare the two groups on the degree of bone marrow suppression,evaluation life quality and the improvement of symptoms.Result:1,no statistic significance for the basic conditions of the 2 groups.2,comparison of blood routine test:on the third and seventh day,comparing the bone marrow suppression concerning the number of patients who have the decline of white blood cell in 2 groups,treatment group is fewer(p<0.05);on the 7th day,the treatment group has fewer cases with the decline of neutrophil(p<0.05);during the whole process,the treatment group consume less granulocyte colony stimulating factor(p<0.05)3,KPS on the life quality:the treatment group is much better(p<0.05)4,improvement on the symptoms:the treatment group has a effective rate in total of 76.7%(excellent 6 cases;effective 17 cases;invalid 7 cases) versus the other 50%(excellent 2 cases;effective 13 cases;invalid 15 cases)(p<0.05).Conclusion:invigorating the spleen and kidney can effectively prevent the bone marrow suppression and improve the symptoms,physical ability and life quality. |
