The Influence Of Banxiabaizhutianma Decoction On Homocysteine Levels In The Patients With Phlegem Retention Obstruction In The Middle-Jiao Type Essential Hypertension Disease

Objective:To observe the influence of jiaweibanxiabaizhutian-ma decoction on Homocysteine (Hcy) level and blood-lipid level and the clinical effect in the patients with Essential Hypertension(EH)(phlegem retention obstruction in the middle-jiao type)Methods:60 patients of EH with dyslipidemia (phlegem retention obstruction in the middle-jiao type) were randomly divided into treatment group (30 patients) and control group (30 patients).Two groups are both accepted conventional treatment.The treatment group added jiaweibanxiabaizhutianma decoction. Observe the changement of BP, the rates of heart and lipidemia of the patients before and after treatment. Both trials continued for 4 weeks.Results:After treatment the compare between two groups:1.BP:In treatment group, the blood press contents in serum are lower than in control group, there is significant difference between them(P<0.05).2. Hcy:In treatment group, the Hcy contents in serum are lower than in control group, there is significant difference between them(P<0.01).3. blood-lipid:In treatment group, the blood-lipid(TG,TC,LDL-C) contents in serum are lower and HDL-C is higher than in control group, there is significant difference between them(P<0.01).Conclusion:1. The recipe of jiaweibanxiabaizhutianma decoction can reduce the blood press levels in the patients with essential hypertension (phlegem retention obstruction in the middle-jiao type) with hyperhomocysteinaemia.2. The recipe of jiaweibanxiabaizhutianma decoction can reduce the Hcy levels and improve lipid metabolism in the patients with essential hypertension (phlegem retention obstruction in the middle-jiao type).
