The Vaginal Secretion Of IL-12 And IL-23 And Its Significance In Varying Degrees Of Serious Vulvovaginal Candidiasis Patients And Study Of Adjunctive Therapy With Thymopentin

Objective To detect the expression level of interleukin-12p70 (IL-12p70) and interleukin-23p19 (IL-23p19) in the vaginal secretions of vulvovaginal candidiasis patients and to investigate their relationship with the pathogenesis of varying degree of serious vulvovaginal candidiasis .Methods The level of the IL-12p70 and IL-23p19 in the vaginal secretions from vulvovaginal candidiasis patients were detected by ELISA and compared with that from normal controls.Results(1)the vaginal secretion level of IL-12p70 and IL-23p19 in varying degree of serious vulvovaginal candidiasis were lower than that in normal control group and there were statistical differences between the four groups (p<0.05);(2)the level of IL-12p70 in Mild, Moderate vulvovaginal candidiasis group was lower than that in control group ,but there was not statistical differences between the two groups (P>0.05);the level of IL-12p70 in severe vulvovaginal candidiasis group and recurrent vulvovaginal candidiasis group were lower than that in control group (P<0.05);(3)the level of IL-23p19 in Mild, Moderate vulvovaginal candidiasis group and severe vulvovaginal candidiasis group were lower than that in control group, but there were not statistical differences between the two groups (P>0.05); the level of IL-23 p19 in recurrent vulvovaginal candidiasis group was lower than that in control group.(P<0.05).Conclusion(1) The abnormal expression of the IL-12p70 and IL-23p19 cytokines might participate in the pathogenesis;(2) The abnormal expression of the IL-12p70 and IL-23p19 cytokines might participate in the heavy degree;(3) The abnormal expression of the IL-12p70 and IL-23p19 cytokines might participate in the the recrudescence of vulvovaginal candidiasis.Part two Therapeutic Effect of Thymopentin Combined with Itraconazole in the treatment of recurrent vulvovaginal candidiasisObjective To observe the efficacy of thymopentin(TP-5) combined with Itraconazole in the treatment of recurrent vulvovaginal candidiasis (RVVC).Methods 60 patients of recurrent vulvovaginal candidiasis were randomly divided into two groups, 30 patients in the treatment group were given intramuscular Thymopentin Injection as treatment 1mg every other day for ten days, and given Itraconazole Capsules 200mg per day for seven days at the same time.30 patients in the control group were only treated with Itraconazole Capsules as treatment in the treated group. Both of the two groups repeat the above treatment on the first day of next menstrual cycle, and consolidate the treatment continuously for three menstrual cycles. further consultation were arranged at one month, three months, six months after treatment respectively, and take notes of clinical symptoms and physical signs, adverse reaction, the inspection result of mycology, in order to comment the Therapeutic Effect comprehensively.Results the effective rate of 30 patients in the treated group at one month, three months, six months after treatment are 73.33%,80.00%,70.00% respectively, to compare the effective rate between the two groups at one month after stopping the treatment, the result showed:X~2=1.20,P>0.05.but compare the effective rate between the two groups at three months and six month after stopping the treatment, the result showed:X~2=8.53 and 9.47,P<0.05.Conclusion It is safe and effective to treat the recurrent vulvovaginal candidiasis with thymopentin(TP-5) and Itraconazole , which can also lower the recurrence rate.
