Objective To evaluate the value of MRI imaging with LAVA technology in diagnosis primary liver carcinoma. Methods The comprehensive MRI find were analyzed retrospectively in 105 PLC patients verified by laboratory tests, operation, and pathology or intervention. The MRI examinations included routine T1WI and T2WI scanning, enhanced T1WI scanning and enhanced multi-phasic, LAVA scanning. The LAVA images at various phases and conventional phases were carefully observed to analyse lesion number and MRI characterization. The lesion detection rates and lesion characterization ability were compared among various MRI sequences. The application of test analysis of significant difference between enhanced T1WI scanning and enhanced multi-phasic, LAVA scanning; especially small hepatocellular carcinoma; at the same time observe enhanced features of lesions; and draw Time - signal curve; the application of MPR, MIP group restructuring deal with the pathological images for preoperative evaluation, to evaluate the value of MRI imaging with LAVA technology in diagnosis primary liver carcinoma. Results There were 154 lesions verified by laboratory tests, operation, and pathology or intervention . 137(88.9%) and 154(100%) foci were displayed respectively on enhanced T1WI, and dynamic enhanced 3D-LAVA images (P<0. 05). The accuracy of enhanced T1WI and LAVA were 84.4%, 93.5% (P<0. 05). There were significant differences, there were 48 small hepatocellular carcinoma,detection rates were 80.5%,100%.After the three-dimensional reconstruction, shows hepatic artery 93 cases, arterial blood supply of tumors 72 cases, portal 99cases, portal vein tumor thrombus 32 cases, inferior vena cava tumor thrombus 6 cases. Conclusion 1. Most of primary liver carcinoma were low signal and high signal in TIWI,T2WI,after enhanced were came soon, out soon. 2. Image reconstruction of post-processing of LAVA effectively and sensitively displays the relationship between vessels. LAVA technology is very helpful in the clinical surgery and intervention of lesions of the liver. 3. LAVA technology and TIWI were more sensitive for pseudocapsule.4. LAVA technology were more sensitive for mosaic symptoms. 5. LAVA technology has more diagnostic value in the preoperative diagnostic than enhanced T1WI ,can significantly improve the detection rate and qualitative rate of lesions. 6. LAVA technology can guaid clinical surgery and evaluate the feasibility of liver surgery.
