| Purpose:Objective evaluation Taisi capsule in treating dementia (reduced kidney medullary syndrome) clinical efficacy and safety.Methods:This clinical trial included 28 patients with senile dementia (kidney marrow by card) patients, randomized, double-blind, parallel control method for positive drug research.28 patients 14 patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control group in 14 cases. Be Taisi capsule treatment group (two-Heron Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. from Beijing available),2 capsules,3 times a day. Control group were given donepezil hydrochloride capsules (up by the Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. Shandong Zibo production, Beijing Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. to provide two-Heron),2 capsules,3 times a day. Course of treatment was 6 months. During the observation period all patients stop taking the medication treatment of senile dementia.Results:After a Taisi capsule clinical efficacy, safety and adverse effects of the statistical analysis, total effective rate was 57.14% in the control group, the total effective rate was 50%, compared to two groups no significant difference (P), that Effect of the treatment group were similar with the positive control, in terms of TCM symptoms improved total effective rate was 56.1%, between the treatment group compared with the control group there was significant difference in efficacy of the treatment group than the control group. After the patients were observed before and after treatment had no significant adverse reactions and adverse events, indicating that the drug is effective in treating Alzheimer's disease, safe without any side effects.Conelusions:Taisi capsule can effectively treat Alzheimer's disease (kidney marrow by card), can effectively improve the intelligence loss, waist and knees, fatigue and other syndromes think lying, without any adverse drug reaction, safe and reliable, is of great research value and the development prospects of Chinese medicine, is worth in clinical application. |
