Objective: In order to understand the prevalence of allergic rhinitis in 3~7years old children in Urumqi, s first-grade kindergarten and to find out factors affecting disease level of children in order to as early as possible find and act guiding and precautionary measures. Methods: 2815 children were investigated using stratified random sampling in thirteen first-grade kindergartens of three region in Urumqi.Database was set up and data logically checked by Epidata 3.1. All the data were input with duplication method and analyzed by SPSS 17.0. Results: The prevalence rate of allergic rhinitis in 3~7years old children was 24.5%, and there were differences among sex. The prevalence rate of the boys were higher than the girls. Prevalence of allergic rhinitis varied along with age differences, and raised by age. The prevalence rate of 6~7years old boys were the highest (28.1%). The factors affecting allergic rhinitis included: season, air conditioning, food allergy, allergy in pregnant stage, hereditary history, family history. Conclusion: The prevalence rate of allergic rhinitis in 3~7years old children is not higher than internal and external report, and the factors affecting allergic rhinitis (season, air conditioning, food allergy, allergy in pregnant stage, hereditary history, family history) had identical views with internal and external.In order to decrease the prevalence of allergic rhinitis, should be paid to environmental sanitation and children's health knowledgs and health care for women at child-bearing age.
