Teaching Chinese phonetics to foreign students is an important part of Chinese language teaching. At the same time standard Chinese pronunciation for a foreigner Chinese learner is a critical point in daily communication in Chinese. In Chinese as a second language teaching phonetics is one of the most difficult part for foreigner students, they don't understand the phonetic system of Chinese language, their pronunciation is not enough standard, and numerous of errors appear in their spoken Chinese. Our research in Chinese phonetic teaching is aiming to help foreigner students to improve their Chinese pronunciation and give some advices to the Chinese language teachers about strategies and methods of teaching, how to make phonetic class more effective and interesting. This paper consists of four chapters. Has been used followed theories:second language acquisition theory, phonetic experiment theory, language transfer theory, as well as the method to analyze of languages comparison. The main purpose of this research is on the basic of the result of the analyses of Russian students'phonetic errors and learning order, give teaching recommendations to Russian students.The first chapter is an introduction of modern Chinese phonetic and the Russian language phonetic systems, this part mainly describing the characteristics of the two phonetic systems. The main purpose of this chapter is to compare phonetic systems of two languages.Chapter two expounds research of foreign language acquisition and introduces the concept and methods of foreign language acquisition and language transfer research and related theory, introduced the concept of language transfer, types and causes. This paper uses methods of voice experiment to collect Russian students' pronunciation data that are used for analysis. We use this method to understand the actual situation of Russian students in Chinese pronunciation. In this chapter we describe theory and methods used in this research paper.The third chapter is one of the most important parts of this project. In this chapter we introduce the software "Praat" that used for Chinese tones analysis, as well as for the occurrence of errors. This analysis is used to give effective advices to the teachers of Chinese phonetics to Russian students.In the fourth and last chapter of this thesis we first describe situation with Chinese phonetic teaching to Russian students in China and in Russia. This part mainly considered about giving recommendations in phonetic teaching to Russian students. We use the results of phonetic experiment and native language transfer as a basic to form recommendations. We hope that it can be helpful in improving Russian students' Chinese pronunciation.
