The 1600s is an era of"Kingship Rationality"."Kingship Rationality"is not only rectifies the European chaos in later period of Renaissance, but also lays the indispensible contribution, which is not actually solid, for the next"Discovery"of the age of Enlightenment. It is the era of European civilization link. Since this era's European literature praise"only rationality can obtain value & brilliance"to the utmost, therefore, the theme of value and artistic poetics of this era's European literature obtained the quality of"rationality"in various levels. However, due to the inherence weakness of"Kingship Rationality", the whole 1600s European literature is just like a"dance with bonds".This paper begins with 1600s literature context, investigates comprehensively the social ideology influence to its literature from philosophy, religion & political aspects. Based on ear's"rationality"spirit, it puts 1600s three literature group, classicism, nobility and citizenship literature in order; reveals the trend of 1600s European literature value theme and defines the inherence evolution of literature spirit under kingship rationality.There are four chapters of this paper:ChapterⅠ:Irrational rational era: generally speaking, literature is contributed upon ideology and the comprehensive and systematic explanation of this ear is necessary. This chapter reveals the important significance of kingship rationality for 1600s through the introduction of complete praise of kingship rationality by the whole era. Meanwhile, interprets the irrational core behind the rational period, which is restraining the physical desire and ignoring the individual value.ChapterⅡ:The philosophy source of 1600s European literature: systematically introduce the philosophy source behind 1600s European literature; focus on the importance influence for the forming of kingship rationality from the explanation of Cartesian's"Rationalism", Machiavelli's"The Prince", Hobbs'"The Natural Law", especially the definition of philosophy character and culture of"Rationalism"for the whole Europe.ChapterⅢ: The literature spirit under kingship rationality: discuss how the writers fight with exhaust and tie under the roof of kingship politician in order to obtain a rest space inside the soul under kingship rationality context. Corneille had praised the rationality by dying for the faith, however, his graphic formula deviate from the humanity and create an irretrievable gap between rationality and sensibilities. Racine disproved the greatness of rationality with desire and pushes the classicism tragedy to the peak. Moliere temperamentally revealed the ugly performance of overflowed desire and losses of rationality from nobleman & capitalist class under kingship protection, which imparted new concept. Writers became the chess of the king and lose power of discourse & independency since tied by politics; this loss is brewing the next literature innovation. Organizing 1600s European literature development is target to find the core value and literature spirit of this era, which is double statement by nation ethic redemption & writer self imprison of kingship rationality and its literature taken care by its core value. Because of the limitation of this era, European literature is slow on seeking human final value; however, it took big step on the investigation of rationality.
