In the present days, with the pace of economic development and globalization accelerating, business contracts are playing an important role in the international business process and regulating the market order. But until now because of lacking enough researches to guide it, so many of the translated business contracts are unprofessional, inaccurate and even not coherent. Under this condition, these misunderstanding business contracts make the market disorder and even make the great loss of economy. From this consideration, this paper is concentrated on functional equivalence analysis of business contracts; there are some principles and strategies to make the business contracts more accurate. Previously, there are some relevant researches on guiding how to translate business contracts translation are just only concerned about simple translation skills. This paper gives a systematic analysis including three factors these are situational context, text functions and language choices in order to talk about three specific principles of translating international business contracts. This paper also shows what strategies should be used in terms of making international business contractions more suitable and less loss of economy.
