This thesis takes Nietzsche's idea of human freedom as the research target, and analyses how the idea of human freedom reflected in the theories of "Dionysian spirit", "God is dead" and "the Will to power". By discussing humanity showed in "Dionysian spirit", recovery of humanity in the assertion of "God is dead", and the realization of human freedom in"the Will to Power", the thesis revealed Nietzsche's aim is to subvert the traditional value system, and tried to set up a new value system taking humanity as its core value. Therefore, human beings have become the God and owner of themselves. This idea of human freedom mirrored in the postmodern literary theory is the revelry of theories: diversity, differences and uncertainty, which become the main features of postmodern literature theories. If without Nietzsche, there would be no such a big feast of postmodernism.
