Qitai dialect is Mandarin Language in Chinese north dialect.It belongs to Lanying Mandarin Language of the north part in Xingjinag. Qitai county is geographically located in tianshan moutain, east to Mulei county, south to tianshan mountains and turpan, north to FuYun and Qinhe county, west to JiMuSaEr county. The northeast beside to Mongolia. Qitai county has a long history, commonly known as the "ancient city", always for military town and commercial port in tianshan moutain. The formation of Chinese dialect related closely to its population migration and geographical location.At present, with the study on Chinese dialect, "dialect of qitai county" shows part of its dialect pronunciation, vocabulary and grammar features. Therefore, this article mainly lies in the show of the basic features of Qitai dialects through the comprehensive investigation. I also expect this article can provides a single point of data which in oder to research for Xinjing dialect, then to provide some valuable information for the deep research in Chinese historical phonetics learning.This article describe mainly in static way and compare with length and breadth.It shows the phoneme system and character of Qitai dialect.This article refers to'Qieyun' and summarize the basic discipline of them.Chapter One:Preface. Include selecting basis, study significance and method, geography, history and population about Qitai, survey of the Qitai,and pronunciation introduction etc.Chapter Two:The phonetic system of single characters and its major peculiarities. It describes in detail the phoneme characters of Qitai Dialect in consonants, vowels, tones and the basic features of phoneme.Chapter Three:The changes of pronunciation. The modified tone in continuouse and soft way.Chapter Four:Polyphonetic characters. It mainly contains the polyphoneme between literal reading and colloquial reading; the polyphoneme between the new variety and the old variety.Chapter Five:The comparison between Xinpu Dialect and Common language.Chapter Six:The comparison between Qitai Dialect and the phonology of Qieyun. Chapter Seven:Syllabary. It contains about 3500 words of Junan Dialect.
