Facing ancient and modern artists' Outstanding works, countless newcomers are inherited from the previous tradition, each pictures is present a level of a painter who understand of painting, painting techniques and materials. So studying individual cases have become more realistic in contemporary.Rembrandt-17 century Dutch great artists, there is one critic had said:"his light will exceed Raphael." This artist talent is so remarkable. What is prompting of this artist have such remarkable achievement on art? However, to study a painter, of course, including his works and his life, it is more clear and comprehensive for us to study this artist. But Rembrandt left texts are extremely rare, it is difficult for us find answers through these limited text, however, a series of Rembrandt self-portraits explore a best window. He used "I" stared "I", with media, materials and skills describe "me". All of Rembrandt self-portrait are more than 100 pieces, he apply creative and unique painting language to oil painting, integrate his spirit and techniques in painting. His works reveal dignified and majestic on canvas. Through his self-portrait, Rembrandt reveal his life and artistic life. Regardless of Rembrandt techniques or his ideas have important value on research.This thesis aims to available information, combined with the practice, Rembrandt self-portrait from showing emotion on the changes as the starting point to explore the analysis of oil language and spiritual content of their paintings. Each self-portrait represent of a painter carefully select specific moment, it will be closely linked to a painter's living environment, if put aside, it will not be able to comprehensive observed. This first chapter of this article is about the necessity of representative of realistic of Rembrandt in seventeenth century in Dutch. The second chapter is about discuss that series of Rembrandt self-portraits is divided into three periods.The third part is the based on second chapter, further explores the painting authenticity of Rembrandt self-portrait, it is mainly aim on the unique painting language, which includes materials, light, brushwork texture, color and so on. The fourth chapter is about enlightenment which according to Rembrandt series of self-portrait that the writer get.
