Maintain The Spirit Of Solitude-the Enlightenment Of Self-portraits By Rembrandt And Van Gogh

In this paper，the analysis of the self-portraits of Rembrandt and Van Gogh part，thusfurther traced back to the spirit，what the painting really should have，and eventuallyproposed to maintain the spirit of solitude on the importance of the painter. The firstpart of the article is to explore what spirit the painting should have，mainly taking theview of Kant’s “game”to leads to the following；the second part takes the timeas the clue, character experience as the background，to analyse of the unity of the twoself-portraits with the non-utilitarian and the utilitarian, and the form of purposivenessand the deep human nature;The third part obtained about the unity of utility andutilitarian,which is from the analisis of the self-portraits,and got the form ofpurposiveness and deep thinking and enlightenment of human nature, and combinedwith the development of contemporary painting got further spirit and features whatthe painting should have.
