The Analysis Of Narrative Strategies In American Suspense Films

American suspense films , as an artistic expression of narration, is accepted all around the world for its suspensive story, mutiple narrative structure and flexible narrative style, and it's strong narrativety and interactivity can hardly be met by other genre films.This thesis aimed to analyse the essence of narration in American suspense films ,using suspense as the clue, by the brief introduction to the narrative characteristics of American suspense films, the analysis of the suspense and break-point, the analysis of viewpoint and person, and the analysis on the representation of unreliable narrative in American suspense films. And analyse the break-point, viewpoint and person and unreliable narrative which involved in the process of suspense's producing, running and fading, for explaining the special representability of American suspense films in terms of narration.
