The Study About Yisheng Characters In Shuo Wen Jie Zi

In analysising configuration and meaning of Chinese characters by LiuShu Theory, including XiangXing ZhiShi HuiYi XingSheng JiaJie and ZhuanZhu, Xu Shen proposes a term----Yisheng that does not correspond to the traditional Liu Shu Theory. Yisheng Zi also causes wide attention and thinking from later scholars.This paper comprehensively analyzes 226 Yisheng characters in ShuoWen JieZi, inspects configuration rationale of Yisheng characters,expounds its rationality of Yisheng characters classifications.Through the analysis of Shengfu Shiyuan of Yisheng characters, expounds Xushen's homology consciousness. Through the study of Yisheng characters, the paper conclude: First,"Yisheng characters"this term is Xushi's unique discovery, breaking the traditional theory ofLiushu bold."Yisheng"is also one word-formation method, Yisheng character is a key part of Chinese characters development and evolution. Second, Xushi deliberately arranged Yisheng classifications that is a reproduction of his homologous consciousness. Third, as a prelude to Xingsheng characters of Yisheng characters,its Shengfu may Shiyuan. Fourth, Yisheng system should be a branch of homologous system. Fifth,"Yisheng"has the important role that the tradtional Liushu can not be replaced in the study and interpretetion of ancient Chinese characters,which is also one important means of analysising configuration and meaning of Chinese characters.
