An Analysis On The Thinking Mechanism About The Creation Mythology Of The Minorities In Yunnan Province

The thinking of the mythology is one of the oldest and hardest topics in mythology. From ancient times many scholars have explored it from various aspects, but no one has made a comprehensive definition due to the internal and external complexity of this conception. As one of the typical topics in the mythology system, the creation mythology deposits the most original wisdom and intelligence of our ancestors, so it is the important component in the mythology system, hence the produce of its complexity. The creation mythology which contains a large number of typical contents could be mainly seen in the creation epics and has formed a community in southwest China, especially in Yunnan province, so we can exploit a road of exploring the creation mythology if we make an analysis on the creation mythology in the creation epics from the minorities of Yunnan province.This paper starts with the creation epics of the typical minorities in Yunnan province and analyzes the mechanism of thinking about the creation mythology implied in it. The writer analyzes and concludes deeply on many text documents of the creation mythology from the minorities in Yunnan province, and also explores its origin from many aspects such as mythology, anthropology, cognitive science, psychology and philosophy. Besides, the writer explores the mechanism of thinking about the creation mythology from four points:thought structure, thought form, thought symbol and thought characteristic, and analyzes the mechanism of thinking about the creation mythology of the minorities in Yunnan province from a higher level.According to the analysis, it appears that due to the mutual infiltration between the subject and the object, and between the outer world and the creation mythology itself, creation mythology has multi-layer structure in its thought structure; in the perspective of thought form, creation mythology is mainly a kind of initiatorily generalized presentation; in thinking symbol, it shows great diversity; in thought characteristic, it is mystery, sensual, emblematic, etc. Among the various characteristics, symbol takes the most prominent role. All the aspects referred above are reasonable and a deep analysis to them will be conducive to make the primitive thinking mechanism clear to the society.
