Performance Art is a breakthrough and attempt on the connotation and extension in the development of art itself. Originated in the mid of twenty century in Europe, Performance Art, also called Action Art, Body Art, Play Art, is different from traditional art to describe things. Performance Art presents idea appriciation connotation by performing body elements. Performance Art is a overthrough to traditional art restriction which creats the static art space state. It's a more direct and more audience closed new art style. For the conception and expression style of Performance Art contrasts appriciation, morality and social tradition in China, so far it is most disputed topic. Firstly, putting Performance Art in the current social change and cultrual transformation background to interpratate itself. By analysing and researching performance art composition to make it to express itself after localization in China; and to make selfexamination in the process of creation and discussion. Secondly, the key difference between Performace Art and other art is that Performance Art take the human body as meida and way to express art conception. When we go back to the history,we will find that body is one of the heart of the matter of philosophy all the time. The aestheticization of everyday life which with the somaesthetics appears make body becomes main instrument of Performance Art naturally.Thirdly, whether Performance Art is a new art style or not, we still have to return the old topic 'end of art', although both Geory Wilhelm Friedrich Hegel and Danto have predicted the end of art, however, nowdays the art practice proves art not only doesn't die out but also emerges diversity of art. As the presentitive of current art, Performance Art is developing the self redemption for art.
