The fifth phase of Xiaozhushan culture is a neolithic culture which is strongly influenced by the Shandong Longshan culture, moreover inherited and developed a part of aboriginal culture. Compared with the same period in Liaodong hinterland remains, the rich cultural connotation of the fifth phase of Xiaozhushan culture constitute a distinct regional characteristics. It has a profound significance on the Liaodong Peninsula in the late neolithic archaeological culture that we study on the fifth phase of Xiaozhushan culture.In this paper, firstly, the author want to examine that this culture is a regional type of Shandong Longshan culture by systematically studying on the site and burial materials,and Quantitative contrast between the elements of different cultures. secondly, by exploring the origin of this culture by combining the analysis of analogy between pottery, The fifth phase of Xiaozhushan culture was from The Shandong Longshan culture and inherited and developed a part of aboriginal culture.And this culture influenced the first phase of Shuangtuozi culture a lot.thirdly, by exploring the economy form through the analysis of practical analysis and living environment. The fishing and hunting economy still played the most important role in The fifth phase of Xiaozhushan culture though the agriculture also developed a lot.finally, explore the exchanges between the fifth phase of Xiaozhushan culture and the surroundings, through the comparison of the artifacts form. Through analyzing and discussing above, the paper is committed to make the fifth phase of Xiaozhushan culture system comprehensive.
