Reflecting On The Ecological Ethics In The Course Of Emission Trading

As the economy and the technology develop fast, human civilization has gain unprecedented development and prosperity since the beginning of the 21st century. However, the contradictions between human beings and the nature, such as the ecological damage, environmental pollution, disruption of ecological balance, become increasingly prominent. In this social history background, ecological ethics was born.Faced with these increasingly serious ecological problems, only relying on ecological ethics of influence is far from enough and the traditional administrative management methods seem weak under such circumstances. Emission trading system is a new method of pollution control, which emerged on the basis of fully considering the market adjustment function. Emission trading system can solve the responsibilities of the market subjects and its objects. Meanwhile, it can greatly arouse the enthusiasm of sewage subjects to treat pollution.Ecological ethics, an ideology, affects and guides human beings'behaviors. In emission trading system, both the subjects and the objects of the ecological ethics have a very important impact on ecological environment. Emission trading system is a physical form, to some extent. It is also a material expression of the ecological ethics consciousness. Ecological ethics can supplement the insufficient of the emissions trading system. This thesis, through studying the relations between ecological ethics and the emissions trading system, suggests that enterprises, governments and individuals should shoulder the same responsibilities and enjoy the same interests in the course of carrying out the emissions trading system which is under the guide of ecological ethics. Simultaneously, in emissions trading system, the targets, the subjects, the objects and the principles of the ecological ethics are all analyzed, and thereby we can find that ecological ethics has a guiding effect in the course of emission trading.
