Since 2011,China has been exploring the establishment of Chinese carbon trade market.Meanwhile,in 2013,China began to carry out pilot carbon trade markets in nine provinces and cities.At the end of 2017,the National Development and Reform Commission convened a teleconference to carry out the Plan for Building the National Carbon Emission Trading Market(Power Generation Industry)(Fa Gai Qihou Gui[2017]2191)as well as deployed the implementation of the construction plan of the national carbon markets.It is marked as the official launch of the national carbon trade markets.(Wallstreetcn,par.1)As we can see,carbon trade will be another green financial market in the future.The translation on carbon trade laws and regulations and other technical documents could be regarded as an important channel as well as basis for foreign markets to learn about Chinese carbon market and its laws and regulations.Only with precise translations of related laws,regulations and other documents,can non-Chinese readers know about Chinese carbon market and its operation well,as well as provide them with precise lawful and technical basis for entering into Chinese carbon market.The selective texts are obtained from the author's internship in EDF China Program in 2013.They are laws and regulations of carbon trade and related laws and regulations implemented since 2013,which regarded as experimental carbon trade laws and regulations in China,combining creativity,environmental protection,pioneering,and normalization in one.Its main target readers refer to pilot carbon trade municipal governments and nonprofit organizations,which depends on the carbon trade business activated by the National Development and Reform Commission in November,2011,including Beijing,Tianjing,Shanghai,Chongqing,Hubei Province,Guangdong Province,and Shenzhen.Meanwhile,the selective texts are written in the typical Chinese legal document style with preciseness and normalization as well as abundant updated news on carbon trade in China.It is the epitome of carbon trade laws and regulations with Chinese characters with long Chinese sentences combining various sense-groups in one.The texts own the Chinese legal documents features which can be used as typical translation cases to analysis.In the meantime,the analysis and research on expressions of Chinese characteristics and Chinese long sentences translation strategies can also benefit the translations researches on parallel texts and other analogous texts.
