In the history of movie industry,there are many classical disaster films. The true,good,beautiful nature of human being which highlights the films impresses us most.Although disaster films are one of the most important commercial films in the world,this number of kind of films in China still small .The study of this kind of movie in China is a blank ,but actually disaster films can attract a large number of audience.Considering this,the meaning of this study rests with reviewing the history of Chinese disaster films,summarizing their type and the character ,and finding out the dificiency emerging in the past study.Predicting the trend of Chinese disaster films, Chinese disaster films are soaring in recent years and find their way of new creative concepts and ideas with Chinese characteristics,but domestic scholars do little study on disaster films and there is a long way to go. Broad scholars do study to varying degrees and have unique understanding of film technolody and art and film creation and works,however,very few of scholars specilized the disaster films.We need to do a systematic study on disaster films and to thoroughly analyze the background,the characters ,the production skills and even the culture contained in the Chinese films.Consequently,a more comprehensive ,deeper understanding can be formed ,providing a more objective and powerful theory for Chineses disaster films and making Chinese disaster films industry health and bright .It has been found that Chinese disaster films have their unique characteristics:The themes are almost adapted from the real life events,it mainly concerns about the natural disaster,the heroes in the movies are nearly officials and the movies are aimed at praising the Party and the goverment.However,their shortcoming lies in the difference with Hollywood blockbuster in tranditional cultural psychology and the view of human being and nature aspects.And what's worse,the lack of capital and the relative lag of stunt level heavily restrict their development.Therefore,on the basis of the future outlook and trend of Chinese disaster films,the author of this paper draws the following three strategies .First,digitizing brings the new broad media market to the Chinese disaster films .Second,changing the narrative perspective can be regarded as a source of inspiration .Third,highlighting of emotion will be the growing trend of sinotype disaster films.
