Merchant, Trade Routes And Regional Vicissitude

Raozhou(Poyang) and Huizhou were among Zhejiang province, Jiangxi province, and Anhui province, which shared with the same mountains, hills, and rivers, combined with tremendous people. Especially, the springing up of the merchants of Hui, the two locals were doing business frequently. The main and significant path of merchants of Hui to communicate with the outside was Chang jiang and Rao River, Merchants of Hui did business in Poyang, and its immigration, were propelled the development of its economy. So Poyang became the center of politics, culture, and economy, In later times, with the decay of Merchants of Hui and the business'function of Chang jiang, Poyang and its economy became feeble. Furthermore, with the variation of its politics, economy, the economy of Poyang was became weak. This paper centered on the rise and fall of Merchants of Hui, and its current business route, take Poyang as an example. It adopts historical methodology, and its historical theory,to analyze the variation of Poyang's economy, demonstrate the influence of merchants in Poyang.The paper included three parts.The first part, that it is, chapter 2. To introduce the geographic location, and configuration of its waters and loads. Depict the ways and features of Huizhou's business with outside word, so that can highlight the superiority of Poyang's location.Part 2 that it is, chapter 3. Analyze Huizhou's merchants influence to the towns of Poyang and its economy, from the perspectives of towns, merchants, and the economy.Part 3,that it is,chapter 4.To demonstrate the variation of merchants'route, economy and its influence to Poyang's development, from the perspectives of the rise and up of the merchant's route and its location.The Last part is the conclusion.Firstly,the merchants'decay influences the rise and up of Poyang, the variation of economy, politics also were the reasons of Poyang's desperation.
