Imagining China's Space Narrative

Imagining China's Space Narrative is not only the actual survival space, but also the literately narrative space which is produced by space areas. In literary texts, geographic, social and historic space form has converted into a sort of spiritual and cultural structure. Although'Imagining China's Space Narrative'is an integrated form, the basic form level split into three----village, town and urban. Through the research we can enter into its basic level and internal relations respectively. Thesis starts from the perspective of Imagining China's Space Narrative, contemporary fictions is my study object, I want to learn its Chinese writing under modernity's development. The space form's basic level is village, town and urban. For one thing, village, town and urban is divided into different space form under modernity; for another thing, through their generation and change we can see the process about modernization in China. The village, town and urban of literature is a combination about the actual survival space and internal culture symbolic body. As a result, the research is two-way isomorphism, which is about the relations between people and the space, including their change bring about the literature's change and they offer the significance of literature. At the same time, we want to learn how literature takes part in the construction about the social, historic, humanism of space, give space significance and value meaning.
