Ethical Study On Behavior Control In The Sight Of Bioethics

As for the research of behavior control, the history is long and short. Why we say it's long, it is because since there are human beings, there is individual control of human behavior. And with the appearance of society, there is social control based on religion,law,government。Why we say it's short? That is because the theoretical study of behavior control is still in the sporadic exploratory stage, No systematic. But in the 21st century, with the development of science and technology, we use a variety of known techniques to control human behavior. And the birth of various behavior treatments based on several of psychological school; give the birth to rapid development of behavioral control, causing the problem and moral controversy on behavior control. Especially the birth of behaviorism, been popular in USA for nearly half of century and affected throughout the world, made to develop a method of behavior control. Behavior control is defined as the use of technical means to limit or change individual behavior. Such limits or changes can be controlled by or without permission, may be mandatory or unconstrained. Some of the means for behavior control: drugs, psychotherapy, behavior restrict technologies (reward or cause avoidance conditioned reflex conditioned reflex) computer stimulation (EBS), hypnosis, biofeedback, surgery, and imprisonment. This Article introduces the form, means and methods of behavior control to distinguish behavior control, control behavior and behaviorism. Leads to parties ethical debates on behavior control and ethical consideration on it. Starting from Bioethics,Discuses the emergence of bioethics, investigating scope and the principles, trying to find out the relationship between bioethics and behavior control. Behavior control is used to control people. but Bioethics, relevant of people's life,dignity,life safety,informed consent,respect for autonomy ,no harm,benefits etc. These basic principles of bioethics are all the ethical principles that behavior control must follow. By listing behavior control application in practice: Behavioral therapy, electrotherapy technology addiction, mental surgical treatment of drug addiction, to analyze the principles of bioethics that behavior control should follow in practice and to explore how to comply with the principles of bioethics in practice. In the end, to propose the imagine of building new type of technology ethics to make behavior control developed humanly and rationally.
