This paper try to analyze the characters in his urban novels and rural novels to show their mind.They are always escaping and pursuiting, that presents the common living situation in general.This article is divided into four parts. I analyse the characters in his urban novels and rural novels in first part. The people living in countryside always want to escape to city. But what they come to city, they still live in edge, can't find the life they expect. Struggling and suffering are inevitable no matter where they are.Then, I show that Bi Feiyu portray the present living situations of characters through his unique writing style. His characters all exist under both city and country background. The writer represents vividly the living tragedy of peoples in humorous narrative style, using the melting narrative point of view between self and the other.Next, I investigate on the reasons for the straits of the characters existent by presenting their status quo. Bi's rural-urban world is a decadent society corrupted by power, in which people gradually lose themselves. Moreover, there are deep-seated social and cultural reasons, the deep social culture profoundly affects peoples'thinking from the deep unconscious.Finally, I study of the characteristic aesthetic value and significance of the outstanding writer with character analysis from the rural-urban point of view. The writer not only paints characterizing childhood memories, but also emphasizes the human-beings in the existing sense. We should note that the one is the mode of the existence of human being, but here the human-beings invaded by worry are all meaningless in both countryside and urban. People there frequently escape to pursuit their dreamy life, and then skip for the next destination, which is a real portraiture of people's basic state in modern times. Thus, the character images in the writer's works hold a more general significance and meaning.
