Pierre Bonnard was a French painter, one of the most influential Les Nabis artists of the nineteenth century. Les Nabis(1889-1899) were a branch of the symbolism that been found by Paul Gauguin. Being deeply influenced by Paul Gauguin, Bonnard's early works were in symbolism style. By 1900 the Les Nabis group was break up, Bonnard remote from the rest of art groups, and working alone, thinking alone. He inherited impressionist rich color and lively strokes. The daily object in his decorative painting expressed irrationalism philosophy and mysticism inner word. All of these reflect his mysticism thoughts. Bonnard loved philosophy and literature, and read Mallarme's poet. His painting remained symbolism style that was his youthful belive.
