The Study On Cultural Project System' Construction And Its Application In TCSL

Language and culture are inseparable, culture teaching is necessary in language teaching. Since the outbreak of "cultural hot" in the 1980s, the cultural factors in second language teaching has been gradually discovering, cultural teaching theory research and teaching practice research and textbooks' writing have been developing in TCSL, especially in culture teaching system and the cultural factors'writing in comprehensive textbooks. But compared with the language studies and teaching which are more mature, cultural studies and teaching still has a long way to go.In theory, there is no culture syllabus which has been accepted widely in TCSL. In practice, teaching and textbooks didn't take pay great attention to cultural content, resulting lack of systematic, comprehensive research. These not only seriously affect cultural teaching achievements, and restricted the development of TCSL. Because the main target in TCSL is developing the learners'intercultural communicative ability and make learners who take Chinese as a second language speak Chinese as fluently, naturally, appropriately as native speakers. The lack of cultural teaching and the lack of consciousness of cultural acquisition will make the learners produce cultural barriers and communication barriers in learning and communication process. And oral Chinese teaching is the most effective way to acquire culture and removed cultural barriers, especially in the primary stage of oral Chinese teaching. Importing culture content in primary spoken Chinese teaching can develop foreign learners' intercultural communicative ability more effectively, which is the important factor distinguish oral Chinese teaching from comprehensive teaching or other teachings.The paper has three sections. The first part is specializing in Chinese culture project system in TCSL in theory. Under the guidance of second language teaching theory, TCSL theory and related cultural teaching theory, based on the existing researches' achievements of Chinese cultural project, we built a system-159 project system with plentiful comprehensive Chinese cultural projects and the grading system is scientific, it's a real innovation. And we made a detailed instructions for example for every culture project from lever 2 to 50 which will facilitate teaching and textbooks'writing. It's the first specific guidance system to apply culture in teaching and textbooks' writing in TCSL. The second part and the third part are experimental exploration and supporting parts. The key research of the second part is to demonstrates the necessity of cultural teaching in oral Chinese teaching in TCSL, and put forward 5 principles of cultural project in textbooks'writing:the combination of functions-culture-structure, the true-accurate,decent-practical principles, the systematic,graded and gradual principles, the principles of targets and contrast, the combining of interesting-regionalization-experience. In the third part we take specific primary spoken language teaching material for experimental object, and inserted culture projects to the six sets of primary spoken language teaching materials of three types at first. The experimental results show that culture content in the current primary spoken language teaching materials is too low, and the 159 project system composed in the first part of this thesis is feasible to guide culture projects' writing in primary spoken language teaching material. And implanting frequency of the 1-85 cultural project is higher, so they are necessary in primary oral Chinese teaching material. Finally we put forward a suggestion to deal with the shortage of cultural capacity in the six sets of primary spoken language teaching materials. It's to expand their cultural capacity in 6 aspects which are writing principles, style design, the text format, words selection, practice design and new media technology.
