On "Love" And "Harmony" In The World Of Bing Xin's Prose

Bing Xin, one of the path breakers of new literature in China, is the pioneer of Chinese female literature and child literature. Among the twentieth century Chinese literature, Bing Xin is the typical representative of"purity"and"love". In the nearly one hundred year old writing process, she has been adhering to"love of philosophy", and has left a great spiritual fortune for the modern Chinese literature, even the contemporary Chinese literature, especially, her prose is prominent.This thesis aims to study Bing Xin's prose through thoroughly analyzing historic background and emotional factors which form"love"and"harmony", the author tries to illustrate superiority of Bing Xin's prose that she writes for Children. On the other hand,"love"in her prose is significant in constructing the harmonious socialism.The thesis is made up of mainly three parts, that is, introduction, body and conclusion. The introduction part is the research history and present research of Bing Xin's prose. The purpose and meaning of this thesis is also elaborated.The main part of the thesis consists of four Chapters. Chapter one analyses historic setting and meaning that produce the"philosophy of love". And"love"reflected in Bing Xin's prose is also analyzed.Through deeply probing into the complex that forms"love", chapter two mainly discusses the effect that complex has on"love"based on the Confucianism, Christianity and Buddhism. At the same time, by analyzing the experience of Bing Xin's childhood deeply, the author draws her conclusion that the happy childhood is also one of the important reasons for Bing Xin to develop the unique writing style.Chapter three discusses Childlike Innocence Consciousness and outlook on children revealed in Bing Xin's prose. By analyzing outlook on children and through the concrete action, the author obtains the result---superiority of child literature.Chapter four discusses the relationship of"love"and"the construction of socialist harmonious society". In terms of"love of philosophy"in Bing Xin's prose, the author analyses its significance of the time and the important meaning that"love"for the harmonious relationship between man and man, man and nature. In conclusion part, the author explains further that Bing Xin's prose belongs to the future and the world, the literature value and the social implication of which need much more evaluation and watch.
