Research On The Application Of Imagery Training In Piano Teaching

The article gives an explanation of the definition of imagery and imagerytraining ,its features,classes and status. The article also analyzes the feasibility andimportance of the application of imagery training in piano teaching and play. Thearticle argues that imagery training is an integrated process of auditory imagery,visual imagery and motor imagery, focusing on the operating mechanism of imagerytraining in piano performance and the methods and procedures of imagery trainingand comes to the conclusion that there are three important functions of imagerytraining in piano learning and performance.The article includes five parts. The first part is the argument about imagery andimagery training, including the definition of imagery and musical imagery,the threefeatures of imagery,three classes of imagery and its important position. Based onpiano play, the article discusses the definition of imagery training and fourpsychological theories for it. The second part discusses the function of imagerytraining in piano teaching, which is reflected mainly in the three aspects of audio,vision and motion and embodied in the three levels of memory,control andimagination. In the third part, the author discusses the methods and procedures ofthe piano imagery training, including the four parts of auditory,visual,motor andimaginative imagery, with each having its three-step trainings for the purpose of aoverall apprehension of imagery training. Part four is about teaching application,experimental operation,chart analysis,analogical reasoning and provides acomprehensive record of the process of the piano imagery training and concludesthat it has an evident effect on piano teaching and play. The fifth part includes someattention to teachers in the imagery training, which is generalized as three fives andhas great reference significance for piano teaching practice.
