In the period of Kangxi, Yongzheng and Qianlong in Qing Dynasty is another immigration peak in the Hexi Corridor in history after the Han and Tang Dynasties. The war between the government of Qing Dynasty and the Junggar was the signal of immigration into He xi Corridor in early twenty-nine-year(1690) of Emperor Kangxi, namely the reason of large-scale immigration was military. Thus, a large number of immigrants settled in the Hexi Corridor, Residential area was from Zhen fan of Liang zhou to Dun huang.Immigration was from beginning to end with that war. Government and folk spontaneous immigration promoted Economy,while consolidated the Northwest frontier, accelerated nation integration. It strongly supported the war between the Qing government and the Junggar and became ultimate strong backing for war victory of the Junggar, and made important contributions to the cities and towns of He xi Corridor immigrants. Immigrations gradually changed the composition of local culture, Immigrants contacted with local residents, mutual understanding and identity among immigrants were strengthened in He xi Corridor. As a result, the immigrants together created a multiculturism of He xi Corridor. We fully absorb and learn from previous scholarly achievements, and research the main impact on the local and triggered diversification on the political, economic, and cultural by immigrants in He xi Corridor in Qing Dynasty during Kangxi, Yongzheng and Qianlong periods. |
