Study On Eye Movement Of Of Depressed Individuals Rorschach Inkblot

Depression as a common mood disorders in today's society, seriously affecting people's physical and mental health, making serious problems on people's daily life and work. Psychologists have making a lot of research on the mechanism of depression, causes, diagnosis to be able to effectively control the occurrence of depression, as well as provide people with the scientific counseling and intervention programs.This study intends to integrate eye movement and Rorschach ink technology, compare depressed individuals'Eye Movement patterns and characteristics, explore the following four questions: (1) depression - normal individuals'general eye movement on ten pictures; (2) Depression - normal individuals'eye movement on different type of pictures; (3) The intrinsic relationship between Rorschach Inkblot Test index and the index of eye movement; (4) cognitive characteristics of depressed individuals. Experimental method, Rorschach ink test, scale and statistical analysis and other methods were used. Study subjects were 23 depressed individuals as the experimental group screened from 640 college students and 28 normal individuals as a control group randomly selected from the remaining individuals,. Laboratory instruments were Tobii eye tracker based Tobii T60 produced by the Swedish, experimental materials were ten electronic Rorschach Inkblot image and three electronic self-made ink pictures, the experiment is in strict accordance with the Rorschach Inkblot procedures and in accordance with the original assessment of Rorschach scoring indicators except pictures were presented on traker, response indicators are response areas, including the overall reaction (W), partial response (D); response determinants, including the motor response (M ), the color reaction (C) and form responses (F); reaction content, combined with a comparative analysis of eye movement, eye movement are the first reaction, the total fixation time, fixation number, average fixation time and watching the first time point of view, and a tracking map, hot spots and other visual records of Fig.The results showed: (1) depression– normal individuals'eye movement patterns both have a certain regularity, and the indicators have significant different in the fourth, fifth, eight, ten picture; (2) Depression - normal individuals in different types of image color characteristics of eye movements on the existence of different laws. Face the same black and white picture, depression - the individual and the first reaction in normal individuals, the total fixation time, fixation number and the average fixation time and other indicators were significantly different, depression was significantly longer than the individual or more than normal individuals; the same face color photographs, depression - an average of normal individuals only significant difference between watching the time, depressed individuals was significantly longer than normal individuals. (3) Depression - different abstract levels in normal individuals Eye Movements of the pictures show different patterns. Normal individuals in the face of the concrete and abstract pictures on the average fixation time significantly different, the face was significantly longer in the abstract picture the face of specific pictures, but depressed individual does not have this feature. (4) Depression - normal individuals when the Rorschach Inkblot trajectory, heat map is different. Individual trajectories of depression is more scattered and irregular, heat map more limited; normal individual trajectories more intensive and rules, heat map is more spread. (5) Depression - normal individuals, making whole, parts of the eye movement response of different laws, and making the overall reaction time, eye movement test groups were significantly different. (6) depression - to make movement in normal individuals, color and form of laws of different eye movement reaction time, the corresponding indicators on the Rorschach assessment of eye movement data are different. (7) Depression - normal individuals in the corresponding indicators on the Rorschach assessment of the trajectory, heat map is different. Make the overall response and motor response, the normal density of individual trajectories, rules, jump a short distance from the eye, the eye jumps more often, than the proliferation of hotspots map; depressed individual trajectories scattered saccade distance, the eye jumps number of small, heat map more concentrated. Make a partial response, the normal dispersion of individual trajectories, heat map proliferation; depression focus on the individual trajectories, heat map is also concentrated. To make the color reaction, the normal individual trajectories scattered saccade distance, eyes dancing more often, hot chart distributed; depression focus on the individual trajectories, the eye jumps from the past, fewer eyes dancing, hot figure set. Conclusions: (1) Depression - Rorschach ink test normal individuals, the general law of eye movements were significantly different; (2) Depression - normal individual images in different types of Rorschach indicators of eye movement on the significant difference; (3) Rorschach Inkblot Index and eye movement is an intrinsic correlation between; (4) depression and normal individuals with different cognitive characteristics of individuals.
