The piano piece "Lyrie Pieces" is among the most outstanding works of Edvard Grieg's musical creation. Just like diary of life in the form of music, Lyric Pieces, which contains 10volumes,altogether 66pieces(Op.12,Op.38,Op.43,Op.47,Op.54, Op.57,Op.62,Op.65,Op.68,andOp.71),have covered the composer's whole music creation career. The fifth series of Op.54 (1891) is the best one in the ten-volume lyric pieces, six of which are much of classic pieces of music. This paper takes six pieces from Grieg's Piano "Lyric Pieces" Op.54 as the main analysis object, elaborating the multi-style blend artistic characteristics of Lyric Pieces Op.54, which are embodied through the aspects of title, melody, rhythm, texture, modal tonality, harmony and other creative means. By this way this paper tries to achieve the interpretation of the true artistic essence. Through much observing and emulating different pianists' playing and combining their playing with my own performance experience, the paper analysizes the six pieces from performance skills, playing style and music expressive aspect, and gives personal insights. The paper also explores the teaching implications that Op.54 brings us from a teaching perspective. The above mentioned are for the benefit of the better study and performing of it in the future.
