The rhyme from Sichuan, Hubei, Hunan, Jiangxi in Tang and Five Dynasties had basically the same poem with the rhymes. They also shown the same convergence in the rhymes, they were the characteristics of Tongyu(通语)The rhyme of Sichuan were different from Guanzhong and Dunhuang aeras:YinSheng,YangSheng Rimes and Entering Rimes, Rime GeGe(歌戈)and Ma(麻), Rime Ge and Tang, YinSheng and YangSheng Rimes had mixed, they were only found in Guanzhong and Dunhuang. Lacking of some sufficent evidences, Sichuan Dialect was not one branch of Guanzhong Dialect.2. Hunan and Jiangxi rhyme was reflected the close relationship with Xiangyu(湘语)and Ganyu(赣语):①In Late Tang Dynasty, Rime Qiji(齐祭)generally mingled with Group Zhi (止摄);Labial characters in Group Liu(流摄)has transitted into Rime Yumu(鱼模),but some characters had two sounds, the one was Group Liu and the other was Yumu. Rime Gema(歌麻)could be combined within the same main vowels.②YangSheng Rimes ending [η] could be mixed between Group Ceng(曾摄)and Group Tong(通摄),Group Geng(梗摄);[n] were mingled generally; [n] has rarely mingled with [m]; [p] was stabler than [t][k].③The fully voiced rising tones changed into the departing tones(浊上变去)were commom, but the fully voiced rising tones were commonly rhymed with departing tones.3. Group Guo(果摄)and Group Jia(假摄)has mixed.②In Late Tang Dynasty, Group Jiang(江摄)has merged into Group Dang(宕摄).[n] has mixed with each other, as the result of the change the main vowel. [m] remained relatively stable. Rime Yuan(元)increasingly close to Rime Hanxian('先),the tendency was slower than the other three areas. ③[t] has mixed at large, and verified the close relationship between Group Zhen(臻摄)and Group Shan(山摄)[k] has cnoverged [t] [p].
