The Research Of Ge Shuiping's Speech In Her Novels

The paper studies the novel language at practical level by providing a lot of cases, taking 16 medium-length novels of Ge Shuiping as subjects such as Hanshan, Shouwang, Guanmei. Multiple-methods containing statistics, caparison, classification and inductio are used in the paper. It is by the guidence of the lexicology theory, grammatic theory and rhetoric theory. By studying the languages of the novels, we can recognize and understand Ge Shuiping's articals better. In addition, by analyzing the language features of using words and sentences, we can get a better combination of the building of a personal characters and the local languages, social life in order to highlight the reginal features of the articals. Further more, it helps us put dialects into literary articals and promote the expressive ability and using area of dialects. The paper consists six parts:The introduction part introduces some basic informations of Ge Shuiping. Two problems are raised by discussing the language use of the novels: firstly, literature and linguistics; secondly, the break and standarization of literary language. The point that literature and linguistics are linked closely is put forward. Literary language should develop under standerizing, and standerize during developing.The second part of the paper focuses on the lexical study of the novels. A profound analysis of the use of dialects, idioms and vulgarities is done in this part. The use of dialects and idioms are attached great importance. The use of dialects contains the use of verbs, adjectives, nouns and special dialects"个,上,下". The use of idioms includes the use of two-part allegorical saying and proverbs.The third part of the paper concentrates on the grammatical study of the novels. It is analyzed from three aspects: verbs, onomatopoeia words,the use of reduplication; the transferred use of word characters; the use of word affix. The use of reduplication contains the use of nouns, verbs and adjectives. The transferred use of word characters contains verbs changed from nouns, nouns changed from verbs, etc. The use of word affix analyzes the prefix word "圪" and the surfix "子" of the dialects.The forth part of the paper studies the use of rhetorics. It consists of three parts: the use of phrases; the use of simile and the use of personification. Simile includes allegeory, metaphor,metonymy,oxymoron and simile without a rhetoric word. Assimilate can be divided into personification and assimilate for matter.The fifth part compares the languages in Ge Shuiping's and Zhao Shuli's novels. Language features of the two authorities are comparaed from lexical and rhetorical perspectives. In the summary part, it concludes the language features of Ge Shuiping's novels from three aspects: the use of dialects,distinguished language style; the ingenious use of rhetorics; and the progressive mature of handling languages.
