In recent years, packaging has become an important part of selling merchandise medium.Wherein, the color of packaging is becoming more important to attract consumer attention.Product quality is attached importance of the enterprises, at the same time; the color design ofpackaging is more paid attention. The aim hopes that through product packaging color transferbusiness and brand culture, brand value. Many foreign high-end cosmetics add the color effect inthe brand. They are absorbed in the packaging color design and strive to visually attract theattention of consumers.According to the basic concept of color and the color of the association as the stating point,and with questionnaires and on-the-spot investigation, the paper has a detailed analysis of thecolor design in the packaging application in the cosmetics packaging as an example. In thisresearch, the paper offered constructive opinion on the concept of color, packaging and colordesign, the relationship of printing technology and the color packaging, brand building ofpsychology of consumers on product sales effects.Finally, the study has the conclusion on the basis of the color art aesthetic and printingtechnology. It is proved that the novel and unique color packaging with representative of thebrand concept can attract the attention of consumers and promote the sales of the products.Especially, the cosmetics which the major element of the products such as "the creation ofbeauty", highlight the important role of color on packaging design much more.There are two innovative points in the article. The first part is that the article puts forward alot of factors during the printing process to improve product packaging color design. Printingtechnology will have a direct impact on the quality of packaging color design. Quality, brandbuilding and the class of products are closely related. The second part, the established brand andconsumer psychology analysis on the packaging color design in double acting. The consumer asthe main market caused the attention of the packaging color from the business. Under thecomprehensive action of the brand characteristics and consumer feedback, designers will createthe outstanding packaging color design.
