Culture is the soul of a nation, represents the soft power of a country. With the fastdeveloping of economy, the development and construction of cultural have grown.Cultural industries as the core of cultural development, it is more important in the futureglobal competition. Compare with the developed country, the research of cultural productsand its value start late in China, is still in the infancy. The key breakthrough of solving thedeveloping cultural is how to increasing the value of cultural products, the hidden valueespecially. Purpose of this research is defining and evaluating the concept of hidden value,excavating potential of it. Provide theoretical basis for developing the value of culturalproducts and promoting the healthy development of cultural industries.First of all, this paper reviews the interrelated research of cultural products based onresearching literature abroad and internal. This paper elaborates the basic concepts andtheories of hidden value of cultural products.Secondly, this paper analyzes the feature and special attributes of cultural products.From the cultural values, social values and market value, this paper builds suitableindicators of hidden value of cultural products based on the feature and special attributesand some research of other scholars.Thirdly, this paper builds evaluated model from the point of view of consumers andexperts using AHP and Entropy Method.Finally, this paper evaluates two main theme films using evaluated model based onthe result of questionnaires. It analyzes the results of evaluation and proposes suggestionsabout how to improving the hidden value of cultural products.
