Culture is to maintain a national gene, creativity is the development of anational power. In the21st century, the cultural change to become the mostimportant historical events, cultural prosperity is the highest goal of socialdevelopment. Cultural and creative capital as a national development policy has beentowards the center of cultural and creative industries have become one of the coretopics of the21st century. Cultural and creative industries have been developingrapidly in the world, in the UK, France, USA, Japan and many other countries, thecultural and creative industry has become a pillar industry.In China, the status of cultural and creative industries in the country increasingthe overall architecture from the15th Party Congress to the party’s eighth mostclearly calls for the development of cultural and creative industries, cultural andcreative industries and proposed policies. However, the theoretical and empiricalresearch competitiveness of China’s cultural and creative industries do not sufficient,and the cultural and creative industries competitive size is directly related to thecompetitiveness of a country or region. Therefore, this paper attempts to study thecompetitiveness of the cultural and creative industries, on this basis, for thedevelopment of cultural and creative industries in Hunan propose practical measures,meanwhile, hopes to provide a theoretical model and reference for future research onthe cultural and creative industries people.In this paper, the competitiveness of the cultural and creative industries as theresearch object, first of all domestic and foreign cultural and creative industriescompetitive research, while the related concepts of cultural and creative industries todefine and industry classification, the integrated use of industrial competitivenesstheory and learn based on the existing cultural and creative industry competitivenessindex system, the establishment of cultural and creative industry competitivenessevaluation system, as a theoretical basis. Then, by introducing the comparativeevaluation of the model, select the entropy method of cultural and creative industriescompetitive evaluation. Then, select the2004-2011data for processing using theentropy method. Again, according to the law of entropy evaluation results of the pasteight years, the empirical analysis from four different angles for the cultural andcreative industries in Hunan competitiveness. Finally, based on the above analysis,the basis of the demand, production factors, related and supporting industries, manufacturing competitiveness and innovation capacity in five areas related to theproposed measures to improve the competitiveness of Hunan cultural and creativeindustries.Research shows that from2004-2011, Hunan cultural and creative industriesshowing a trend of rapid growth, competitiveness levels rise year by year, to theoverall development of Hunan has brought enormous economic and social benefits.But with the domestic cultural and creative industries developed provinces tocompare, Hunan cultural and creative industries there are still some gaps. Therefore,through this study, hoping to address the impact of the development of cultural andcreative industries in Hunan problems, thereby improving the competitiveness ofHunan Province.
